This is the inside of Battersea Power Station (probably most famously known as the building on the cover of Pink Floyd’s Animals). When I lived in Pimlico, I tried multiple times to get in and was always rebuffed by the security people (apparently it’s not the most structurally sound building and having nosy Americans sniffing around is a bit of a liability).
However, in an exciting turn of events, my client held an event there this week— and I have to say, it was one of the highlights of my time in London so far. For someone who loves the haunted beauty of broken down, abandoned buildings, it was quite the treat to experience.
